JANUARY 23rd - 29th

Weber River
1/24 Weber is fishing great with low wadeable water.  Try stonefly nymphs#8-12, sow bugs #14-18, hare's ears #14-18, Sherbet Bottom Rollers #8-10.  Some reports of good action on white streamers.  Rapalas and Spinners could be a good bet for spin fishers.

Middle Provo River
1/24 - Nymphing has been best with sow bugs #16-18,  midge larva and pupa in olive #18-22.  Try Tailwater sows, JuJubee Midges, Bling Midges, and Disco Midges in #18-22.  Some surface action in the afternoon on small midges. Try Morgan's and Sprout Midges #20-24.

Lower Provo River
1/24 - Midges, sow bugs, and stone fly nymphs have been good nymphs to use on the Lower.  Try Ray Charles sows, Miracle Nymphs, Dee's Midges, and Tungstones. 

Strawberry Reservoir
1/24 - Ice fishing has been good throughout the reservoir!  Fish are being found in 20' -30' of water.  Effective lures are Paddle Bugs, Maniac Gizzy Bugs, 1-1/2" Radical Glow tubes.

Starvation Reservoir
1/24 - Use caution! Ice condition is a little sketchy with warm temps and rain from last week. 

Rockport
1/24 - Trout are being caught off the bottom in 8-12' of water and suspended around 12' over deeper water.  Tubes, Puddle Jumpers, Rat Finkies, and Frostees are good lures, tip them with wax worms and PowerBait.  Join us for an ice fishing party on  Feb 4th from 8 -3 at the State Park on the east side at the boat ramp. There will be hot chocolate and hot dogs. We will be holding seminars on fishing and safety all day. You may even catch one of th 40 tagged fish and win a prize worth up to $2500 .
